28 July 2010

AirAsia is celebrating Malaysia’s 53 years of nationhood by launching a “Malaysia’s Favourite Airline” promotion.

AirAsia is offering fares starting from as low as RM53 to selected destinations from Kuala Lumpur to Brunei, Alor Setar, Bintulu, Johor Bahru, Langkawi, Penang, Kuching, Miri and many others. In addition to that, there are also other international sectors such as Krabi, Chiang Mai, Bangalore, Jakarta, Shenzhen, Yangon and many others which are offered from RM93 during this promotion.

“The “Malaysia’s Favourite Airline” campaign echoes our commitment in offering low fares to the rakyat. It also demonstrates our appreciation and gratitude to our guests for being loyal to us throughout these 9 years. AirAsia has empowered Malaysians to fly and in fact we have flown 15.23 million passengers alone last year is testament that we are indeed the preferred choice amongst Malaysians,” said Kathleen Tan, Regional Head of Commercial, AirAsia. “With our amazing low fares, Malaysians can now visit and renew social ties with families, friends and relatives, develop business ties, indulge in leisure holidays to domestic or international destinations such as to India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and China. We hope that our revolutionary low fares will persist to grant more freedom and dreams to fly.”

The promotion is valid for booking until 1 August 2010 for travel between 9 August 2010 and 15 November 2010.
